Movie Madness Project Pan – Finale! | Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!

Hey gang!  And happy Friday!  Hope all is well for you!  Everything is going well on this end!  Today I am here to bring you my Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!  This project we got to chose between 4-6 items and base them off any movie.  I picked four because 4 is my lucky number.  I swear, it feels like I just started this project and now I am bringing you the finale.  I almost feel like if you want the year to go by faster, do a 3-month project pan and watch the time just fly by!  So before I babble on too much longer, let’s get into the products, shall we?

Two products do not have updated photos.  The reason for that being I did not touch them ONCE during the last month.  Those products being my OPI Classic Nail Lacquer in Black Onyx (for the wonderful movie Hocus Pocus) and the Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Nahz Fur Atoo (for my beloved Dracula).  The nail polish hasn’t moved because I didn’t paint my nails at all the first couple of weeks in December, then I went a got my acrylics put back on (Lord did I miss them) and decided to be festive by putting on a sparkly red (China Glaze Ho! Ho! Ho! in case you are wondering).  The reason I haven’t been wearing the lipstick is the trouble it has caused me.  The couple of times I have worn it, I’ve had trouble with it bleeding out the lip line, fading extremely fast, and transferring everywhere.  I’m honestly coming to the conclusion that most red liquid lipstick shades do this and it is frustrating. | Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!

Now moving onto products that I have made a dent on!  Here we’ve got the L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, which was in reference to the Silence of the Lambs and I’m sure you can guess why if you have seen that movie.  Throwing it into this project, I have made some steady but significant progress.  I feel I used up about 1/3 of the product and have about that remaining! | Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!

The last product is because I’m a glutton for punishment 😉 which is in reference to my favorite movie of all time, Se7en.  It is the Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer.  Here is another product that I made steady progress on and I truly felt added up to great results.  The funny thing is, I don’t use much of this product and I feel I used up quite a bit in 3 months.  Honestly, though, these are all rough estimations.  I was scraping through the bottle trying to see where I possibly was.  This is the oldest concealer in my collection.  It is definitely a good one but I need to work through it before it gets funky!

So there we have it guys, my last project pan for 2018!  Granted, I only did 3 project pans this year, all towards the end, however,  I have done project pans in the past and never stuck with them.  Even though this project was not a complete success, the fact that I stuck with it through the end is huge for me!  I will take small accomplishments such as these!  Anywho, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to check out my finale and blog, I hope you have a fabulous weekend and I will hopefully see you back here on Monday!  Until then!

12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan: FINALE!

Hey gang and Merry Christmas Eve to you all, or to all those who celebrate it.  We are finally here, the finale to my 12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan.  I can’t believe how quickly we got here.  It feels like just yesterday I was posting the intro and here I am with the finale.  Well, I will try and keep this post short and sweet, unlike my previous novel posts, haha.  So, if you are interested to see how I did, then just keep reading!

Before we jump into the last few products I was working on, I’m going to go over the products that I finished or hit my goal on.  On the first update I finished the Milani Make It Dewy Setting Spray, I hit pan in both MERCURY & DAWN in my Anastasia Beverly Hills SUBCULTURE Palette, and finish my Kat Von D Beauty Signature Brow Precision Pencil in GRAPHITE.

For the last update, I finished the shades LYRIC & LUCID from the Kat Von D Beauty Shade & Light Contour Palette and hit goal of hitting major pan in SOMBRE.  I also managed to accidentally finish off the ELF Instant Lift Brow Pencil in Soft Brown.  Now onto the rest of the products in this project! | Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lip Ammunition in CELEBRITY SKIN

First, let’s talk about my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lip Ammunition Lipstick in CELEBRITY SKIN.  I am happy to report I have finished it and this is the first lipstick I have EVER panned!  This is a huge accomplishment for me!  As I stated in the last update, I will not repurchase this item.  The shade wasn’t what I was personally looking for in my ideal nude and the formula was a bit drying on me. | Michael Kors Sexy Amber 3.4 FL OZ Perfume

Next is my Michael Kors Sexy Amber 3.4 FL OZ Perfume and this is also completely used up!  This is also another first for me, well, for the size anyway.  I have finished body mists this size before and have finished 1 OZ perfumes in the past, but never a fragrance of this magnitude.  This use to be a holy grail scent for me then I fell out of love with it.  Hence why it was sitting in my collection for so long.  I’ve been trying to make myself use it throughout the year, but putting it in this project has been a tremendous help!  It also helped me fall back in love with the scent.  Sadly, Michael Kors is not cruelty-free therefore I shall not be repurchasing. | Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder

Another finished product off this list is my Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder.  I am not a fan of loose powders.  I have finally, finally learned and realized that about myself.  I was not reaching for this powder until I got the idea to press it into an empty compact, hence the Rimmel compact.  I really ended up enjoying this product to where I might actually repurchase and just press it into a pan.  I’m working on some other powders right now, but if I can’t find anything that is comparable, I will repurchase this product.  It looked beautiful under my eyes and set all over. | C.Y.O. Long-Lasting Foundation & FLOWER Beauty Light Illusion Foundation

Since we are talking about face products, let’s move onto the two foundations I threw in this project.  The C.Y.O. Long-Lasting Lifeproof Foundation in 101 and the FLOWER Beauty Light Illusion Luminous Makeup in L2.  I’m happy to say I made my goal for the C.Y.O. Foundation, I just wanted to be over halfway done with it.  The FLOWER foundation I came very close to my goal.  I wanted to have about 1/4 of the bottle left but I’m around 1/3.  But hey, I’ll take that as a win because I have managed to use up quite a bit of this foundation!  I also mentioned, even though I love the C.Y.O. foundation, it is holy grail status for me, I wouldn’t be repurchasing until I could verify if it is cruelty-free or not.  Ethical Bunny has them listed as cruelty-free, so unless something says otherwise, I’m going to trust that.

Next up is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal Pencil in 005 NUDE.  Seriously, there is a miniscule amount of progress.  Literally, barely any progress.  Here’s the thing, I wear makeup about 6 days week.  I am pretty consistent about that.  I wear this pencil in my waterline 23 out of the 24 times I wear makeup in one month.  I mean, talk about ultimate bang for your buck!  So even though I have made much visible progress, I am happy about it.

Last up is a product that I have not touched.  Well, maybe once.  I’m talking about my Melt Cosmetics Lipstick in LACED.  Just for shit and giggles, I held it up against my paper, low and behold no progress.  As I’m typing up this post, I’m wearing it and here is what I finally learned.  I hate this formula.  The color, love it!  This formula though is so drying on my lips, my lips actually peel and I can wear quite a few drying liquid lip products and not have this happen.  So, I am going to be decluttering this item.  There is going to be an end of the year declutter, refreshing for 2019 so be on the lookout for that and don’t be surprised when you see this product there.

So that’s it gang, my second project pan of the year that I actually stuck with!  I have one more finale coming up at the end of the year, which now that I think of it, I should be posting that on Friday.  Anywho, I want to know if you also participated in the 12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan and if you did, what your successes were with the project!  And on a quick side note, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, I hope you are spending it with people (or animals) you love.  Sending you all lots of love and joy!  Merry Christmas everyone!!

13 By Halloween Project Pan – FINALE! | 13 By Halloween Project Pan FINALE

Hey everyone, long time no write, I know.  Per most people’s reasoning, life got in the way.  However, here I am today with my 13 By Halloween Project Pan FINALE!  I finally worked all the way through a freaking project pan and I am beyond thrilled and proud of myself.  I’ve done several project pans in the past and have been unsuccessful, but today is the finale!  I’m going to go over the products I finished before this finale, before going over what products I had left.  So if you think that is something you might be interested in, well, just keep on reading!

Please Note: This post DOES contain affiliate links.

On the first update, I was able to finish off 6 of the 13 products which included the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Liquid Foundation in shade 1.5 ($40 US), the Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Pressed Powder ($5.49 US), the Milani Make It Last Setting Spray ($9.99 US), the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Granite ($21 US), the Catrice Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette in 010 Ashy Radiance ($7.99 US), and the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Amethyst Rollerball Perfume ($28 US).  For pictures, I’ll leave the link to the first update here.

On the second update, I was able to finish an additional 3 products and declutter one.  Those products were the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer in Fair ($9.99 US), the Wet N Wild Photofocus Pressed Powder in Warm Light ($4.99 US), and the Wet N Wild Single Shadow in Brulee ($0.99).  The decluttered item was the PUR Correcting Primer in Illuminate & Glow (discontinued).  The second update will be linked here for your convenience.

So, that means a total of 10 out of the original 13 products were finished or decluttered.  Let’s get into the last 3 items and see where I ended up! | 13 By Halloween Project Pan Update #2
No7 Match Made Bronzer – Intro | 13 By Halloween Project Pan
No7 Match Made Bronzer – Finale

First up is the No7 Match Made Bronzer in Golden Sand ($12.99 US).  I am happy to say I finally, FINALLY hit my goal of hitting pan!  I have actually come to really enjoy this product!  I still have no idea whether or not No7 is a cruelty-free brand so I would not repurchase if I ever manage to use this product up, but I am so beyond thrilled at hitting some good pan in this product!

Next, we have the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Dry Shampoo ($28 US).  I don’t have progress pictures of this product because for one, the packaging is opaque and I’m not very good at guestimating where I’m at, but I am happy to say I completely finished up this product!  I really love the scent of Nirvana Black, I’ve just never been into dry shampoos, not because this didn’t work for me, just because I’ve never gotten into the habit of using them.  So, even though this scent is pure heaven for me, I would not repurchase. | 13 By Halloween Project Pan FINALE
Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber Fine Fragrance Mist

Last up, we have the Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber Fine Fragrance Mist ($14.50 US).  Sadly, I was not able to use up this bad boy, but DAMN did I make some killer progress!  I think if I keep up with it, I will be able to use it up by the end of November and move out another fragrance/body mist.  It pisses me off that Bath & Body Works decided to start selling in Mainland China because this is literally my ride or die body wash and body mist.  Assholes.  Oh well.

So that does it!  I can’t believe I finally followed through with a project pan and was this successful!  It’s amazing what you can do and work through once you stay dedicated to the products.  Coming up soon are going to be both my Movie Madness Project Pan and my 12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan updates, so keep an eye out for that!  I hope everyone had a killer Halloween!  Did any of you go through with the 13 by Halloween Project?  If so, let me know how you did in the comments!  Until next time!
