Movie Madness Project Pan – Finale!

LeahEiden.com | Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!

Hey gang!  And happy Friday!  Hope all is well for you!  Everything is going well on this end!  Today I am here to bring you my Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!  This project we got to chose between 4-6 items and base them off any movie.  I picked four because 4 is my lucky number.  I swear, it feels like I just started this project and now I am bringing you the finale.  I almost feel like if you want the year to go by faster, do a 3-month project pan and watch the time just fly by!  So before I babble on too much longer, let’s get into the products, shall we?

Please Note: This post DOES contain affiliate links.  Thank you!

Two products do not have updated photos.  The reason for that being I did not touch them ONCE during the last month.  Those products being my OPI Classic Nail Lacquer in Black Onyx (for the wonderful movie Hocus Pocus) and the Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Nahz Fur Atoo (for my beloved Dracula).  The nail polish hasn’t moved because I didn’t paint my nails at all the first couple of weeks in December, then I went a got my acrylics put back on (Lord did I miss them) and decided to be festive by putting on a sparkly red (China Glaze Ho! Ho! Ho! in case you are wondering).  The reason I haven’t been wearing the lipstick is the trouble it has caused me.  The couple of times I have worn it, I’ve had trouble with it bleeding out the lip line, fading extremely fast, and transferring everywhere.  I’m honestly coming to the conclusion that most red liquid lipstick shades do this and it is frustrating.

LeahEiden.com | Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!

Now moving onto products that I have made a dent on!  Here we’ve got the L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, which was in reference to the Silence of the Lambs and I’m sure you can guess why if you have seen that movie.  Throwing it into this project, I have made some steady but significant progress.  I feel I used up about 1/3 of the product and have about that remaining!

LeahEiden.com | Movie Madness Project Pan FINALE!

The last product is because I’m a glutton for punishment 😉 which is in reference to my favorite movie of all time, Se7en.  It is the Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer.  Here is another product that I made steady progress on and I truly felt added up to great results.  The funny thing is, I don’t use much of this product and I feel I used up quite a bit in 3 months.  Honestly, though, these are all rough estimations.  I was scraping through the bottle trying to see where I possibly was.  This is the oldest concealer in my collection.  It is definitely a good one but I need to work through it before it gets funky!

So there we have it guys, my last project pan for 2018!  Granted, I only did 3 project pans this year, all towards the end, however,  I have done project pans in the past and never stuck with them.  Even though this project was not a complete success, the fact that I stuck with it through the end is huge for me!  I will take small accomplishments such as these!  Anywho, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to check out my finale and blog, I hope you have a fabulous weekend and I will hopefully see you back here on Monday!  Until then!

12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan: FINALE!

Hey gang and Merry Christmas Eve to you all, or to all those who celebrate it.  We are finally here, the finale to my 12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan.  I can’t believe how quickly we got here.  It feels like just yesterday I was posting the intro and here I am with the finale.  Well, I will try and keep this post short and sweet, unlike my previous novel posts, haha.  So, if you are interested to see how I did, then just keep reading!

Please Note: This post DOES contain affiliate links.  Thank you!

Before we jump into the last few products I was working on, I’m going to go over the products that I finished or hit my goal on.  On the first update I finished the Milani Make It Dewy Setting Spray, I hit pan in both MERCURY & DAWN in my Anastasia Beverly Hills SUBCULTURE Palette, and finish my Kat Von D Beauty Signature Brow Precision Pencil in GRAPHITE.

For the last update, I finished the shades LYRIC & LUCID from the Kat Von D Beauty Shade & Light Contour Palette and hit goal of hitting major pan in SOMBRE.  I also managed to accidentally finish off the ELF Instant Lift Brow Pencil in Soft Brown.  Now onto the rest of the products in this project!

LeahEiden.com | Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lip Ammunition in CELEBRITY SKIN

First, let’s talk about my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lip Ammunition Lipstick in CELEBRITY SKIN.  I am happy to report I have finished it and this is the first lipstick I have EVER panned!  This is a huge accomplishment for me!  As I stated in the last update, I will not repurchase this item.  The shade wasn’t what I was personally looking for in my ideal nude and the formula was a bit drying on me.

LeahEiden.com | Michael Kors Sexy Amber 3.4 FL OZ Perfume

Next is my Michael Kors Sexy Amber 3.4 FL OZ Perfume and this is also completely used up!  This is also another first for me, well, for the size anyway.  I have finished body mists this size before and have finished 1 OZ perfumes in the past, but never a fragrance of this magnitude.  This use to be a holy grail scent for me then I fell out of love with it.  Hence why it was sitting in my collection for so long.  I’ve been trying to make myself use it throughout the year, but putting it in this project has been a tremendous help!  It also helped me fall back in love with the scent.  Sadly, Michael Kors is not cruelty-free therefore I shall not be repurchasing.

LeahEiden.com | Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder

Another finished product off this list is my Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder.  I am not a fan of loose powders.  I have finally, finally learned and realized that about myself.  I was not reaching for this powder until I got the idea to press it into an empty compact, hence the Rimmel compact.  I really ended up enjoying this product to where I might actually repurchase and just press it into a pan.  I’m working on some other powders right now, but if I can’t find anything that is comparable, I will repurchase this product.  It looked beautiful under my eyes and set all over.

LeahEiden.com | C.Y.O. Long-Lasting Foundation & FLOWER Beauty Light Illusion Foundation

Since we are talking about face products, let’s move onto the two foundations I threw in this project.  The C.Y.O. Long-Lasting Lifeproof Foundation in 101 and the FLOWER Beauty Light Illusion Luminous Makeup in L2.  I’m happy to say I made my goal for the C.Y.O. Foundation, I just wanted to be over halfway done with it.  The FLOWER foundation I came very close to my goal.  I wanted to have about 1/4 of the bottle left but I’m around 1/3.  But hey, I’ll take that as a win because I have managed to use up quite a bit of this foundation!  I also mentioned, even though I love the C.Y.O. foundation, it is holy grail status for me, I wouldn’t be repurchasing until I could verify if it is cruelty-free or not.  Ethical Bunny has them listed as cruelty-free, so unless something says otherwise, I’m going to trust that.

Next up is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal Pencil in 005 NUDE.  Seriously, there is a miniscule amount of progress.  Literally, barely any progress.  Here’s the thing, I wear makeup about 6 days week.  I am pretty consistent about that.  I wear this pencil in my waterline 23 out of the 24 times I wear makeup in one month.  I mean, talk about ultimate bang for your buck!  So even though I have made much visible progress, I am happy about it.

Last up is a product that I have not touched.  Well, maybe once.  I’m talking about my Melt Cosmetics Lipstick in LACED.  Just for shit and giggles, I held it up against my paper, low and behold no progress.  As I’m typing up this post, I’m wearing it and here is what I finally learned.  I hate this formula.  The color, love it!  This formula though is so drying on my lips, my lips actually peel and I can wear quite a few drying liquid lip products and not have this happen.  So, I am going to be decluttering this item.  There is going to be an end of the year declutter, refreshing for 2019 so be on the lookout for that and don’t be surprised when you see this product there.

So that’s it gang, my second project pan of the year that I actually stuck with!  I have one more finale coming up at the end of the year, which now that I think of it, I should be posting that on Friday.  Anywho, I want to know if you also participated in the 12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan and if you did, what your successes were with the project!  And on a quick side note, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, I hope you are spending it with people (or animals) you love.  Sending you all lots of love and joy!  Merry Christmas everyone!!

Movie Madness Project Pan – Update #2

Hey gang, hope all is well on this fine Wednesday afternoon, well, it’s afternoon when I am posting this.  We are getting closer and closer to December, it is wild.  Right now my BF and his son are playing the NES and it is adorable.  Anywho, not why I’m here today.  Today is the second update to my Movie Madness Project Pan.  As I stated in the INTRO, this was a project created by Jessica on YouTube.  I loved the idea of basing a few products off of some of my favorite movies so I hopped on.  I missed the first update, well missed uploading the first update, so here I am with technically the second update.  So if you’d like to see the progress (or no progress) I have made on my items, well you know what to do!

Please Note: This post DOES contain affiliate links.  Thank you!

LeahERaven.com | Movie Madness Project Pan - Update #2

1. Hocus PocusOPI Nail Polish in Black Onyx
I have made very little progress on this item and honestly, I am shocked.  I enjoy wearing nail polish, although I do hate waiting for it to dry because it takes anywhere from an hour to two hours to fully dry.  However, black nail polish is my favorite to wear but I just haven’t been in the mood to wear black nail polish or nail polish in general.  For example, right now my nails are completely bare.   I still have one more month, so we shall see if the line can go a bit further down.

11282018-katvond

2. Bram Stoker’s DraculaKat Von D Beauty Nahz Fur Atoo Everlasting Liquid Lipstick
This product has no visible progress.  I know it is difficult to actually see progress on a liquid lipstick unless you use it religiously.  I’ve probably worn this about 4 or 5 times this past month.  It really bums me out because I absolutely love this shade but it bleeds on me.  Even with a lip liner, this shade bleeds.  This formula also fades incredibly quickly.  Because of those two reasons, I don’t wear it.  I cannot have a red lip product bleed on me.  I’m going to try a couple of different techniques in order to try and wear this, but if it continues to bleed I will probably end up decluttering this product which really upsets me.

11282018-loccitane

3. The Silence of the LambsL’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream
I do have some progress to show on this product but again not much.  I’m not a huge fan of the packaging but the product is nice.  I keep forgetting to put it on, even with leaving it out.  I’m trying to get my BF to wear it some too to help move along the progress lol.  Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do right?

LeahERaven.com | Movie Madness Project Pan - Update #2

4. Se7enTarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer
Making this my only concealer I’m wearing I have been making great progress.  Better progress than I initially anticipated.  If you checked out my GRWM post I showed that I only use a little bit but have still been making great progress.  I guess that’s what happens when you stay consistent with a product, huh?  It definitely won’t be finished by the end of this project, but it sure will be very close!

So that does it for this quick update.  It’s nice to throw in short posts every now and again and doing small projects definitely helps with that.  I only have one more month left on this project, it ends December 28th to be exact.  I will definitely not have anything finished but like I said, progress is progress.  Have you pulled out anything recently from your collection and made some progress on?  Let me know!  Hope you have a great evening and until next time!

12 Pans of Christmas – Update #2

Hey gang!  Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrated it in the states.  I did a little Black Friday shopping, online only for my BF’s son and my niece.  I’m doing well on this end, not too many crazy things to report on.  Today I’m bringing you my second update to my 12 Pans of Christmas!  I know right?!  I’m actually bringing it to you this month.  I don’t think I posted last months update, let alone make sure there were pictures.  So I am doing it right today and I am super excited to share with you the progress!  So, if you would like to see where I am currently on this project, you know what to do!

Please Note: This post DOES contain affiliate links.  Thank you.

On the first update, I managed to knock out the Milani Make It Dewy Setting Spray, I managed to hit my goal in the Anastasia Beverly Hills SUBCULTURE Palette, which was to hit pan in both Dawn & Mercury and finished up my Kat Von D Beauty Signature Brow Precision Pencil in Graphite.  This month I was able to make goal on two additional products, make significant progress on a couple of others, and virtually no progress on a few.

LeahERaven.com | 12 Pans of Christmas Update # 2 - Kat Von D Beauty Shade & Light Contour Palette

The first major success is I finished both of the lighter shades, Lucid & Lyric, in my Kat Von D Beauty Shade & Light Contour Palette and hit major pan in Sombre, the contour shade.  If you can see in the picture, I made a frankenblush and put it where Lucid use to be.  I plan to keep using Sombre and see how far I can get with it till the end of this project.

LeahERaven.com | 12 Pans of Christmas Update # 2

Now the next product was an accidental pan.  I finished off the ELF Instant Lift Brow Pencil in Soft Brown.  I somehow managed to break the pencil and lost the product.  I clicked it all the way up and no more product would come out.  Fortunately, it is only a $2 pencil but that is not how I would like to use up my products.

Moving onto products that I have made significant progress on would be my Jeffree Star Lip Ammunition Lipstick in Celebrity Skin.  I enjoy this color but it is still not my ideal nude shade.  It has been really difficult for me to find a cool toned brown/beige/grey shade that doesn’t have any purple in it nor run pink/peach.  This shade is definitely more warm toned.  It is nice, don’t get me wrong.  But would not repurchase.  I know this will be finished up by the finale and I am stoked about that.  It will be my first lipstick pan ever!  Progress is shown on the sheet above the ELF Brow Pencil.

LeahERaven.com | 12 Pans of Christmas Update # 2 - Michael Kors Sexy Amber Perfume 3.4 Fl Oz

Moving right along I have my Michael Kors Sexy Amber Perfume in the 3.4 fl oz size.  This use to be a holy grail, ride or die fragrance for me, hence why I bought the 3.4 fl oz size of it.  Then I completely fell out of love with it.  However, throwing it into this project has made me fall back in love with it.  I don’t like how it smells upon first application, but once it melds into my skin, dear God it smells divine!  I have made steady progress on this product and I am confident I will have it finished by the end of the project.

LeahERaven.com | 12 Pans of Christmas Update # 2 - Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder

Up next we have the Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder that I had pressed into an old Rimmel Stay Matte compact.  I’ve mentioned this a few times now but just in case you are new here, hi, hello, how are ya?  My name is Leah and I am not a fan of loose powders… of any kind.  Highlighters, blush, foundations, bronzers, you name it, don’t like it.  Pressing this powder into the compact has made me fall for this product.  However, I would not repurchase it because I don’t want to have to press it ever time.  But, from the last time (although my dumbass never posted it) I have significantly increased the pan.  I’m pretty confident that I will have this finished off by December 24th.

LeahERaven.com | 12 Pans of Christmas Update # 2 - FLOWER Beauty Light Illusion Luminous Makeup

Next up we have my FLOWER Beauty Light Illusion Luminous Foundation.  As you can see from the progress photo above, I have made consistent steady progress on this foundation.  I know it will not be finished by the end of the year but I’m hoping I’ll only have about 1/4 of the product left.  I absolutely have fallen in love with this foundation.  Once I go use up more of my foundations in my collection, this one will be a definite repurchase just in the lightest shade.

LeahERaven.com | 12 Pans of Christmas Update # 2 - C.Y.O. Long-Lasting Foundation Lifeproof

Here we have the CYO Long-Lasting Lifeproof Foundation.  I was originally working on the Kat Von D Beauty Lock-It Foundation but that foundation is so incredibly matte that it is managing to dry out my skin and look really cakey now that the weather has gotten much colder here in Seattle.  So, I switched in this foundation and have made great progress.  I mix it with the FLOWER Beauty foundation to help lighten it and make it less dewy throughout the day.  This combination is superb on my skin!  The only problem with CYO is that I have not had it verified that this brand is cruelty-free which really upsets me.  This foundation has easily become holy grail status but I won’t repurchase till I verify the status.

The last couple of products that I’m going to talk about is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in 005 Nude and the Melt Cosmetics Lipstick in Laced.  The Rimmel I use every single time I do my makeup but because I use it only on my waterline there is a tiny amount of progress to show therefore it will NOT be finished by the end of this project haha.  The Melt Cosmetics Laced Lipstick has no progress.  The reason for that is because I have been focusing on the Jeffree Star lipstick and I really want to finish up that one before I start working on the Melt lipstick.  I definitely won’t have it finished by the end of this project but I hope to have some progress.

So that’s it, gang.  That does it for my second update for my 12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan.  The project officially ends Christmas Eve, December 24th.  I’ll probably post my finale a few days after.  I cannot believe yesterday was Thanksgiving and we are rolling into the Christmas season with Christmas being a month away.  Man this year truly flew by.  Well, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, if you went Black Friday shopping, let me know what you picked up!  Like I said, I’m not really into Black Friday shopping, I just ordered some toys online for my BF’s son and my niece other than that I didn’t pick up anything.  Until Monday!

Products I’ve Currently Hit Pan On – November 2018

Hello, hello, hello, and happy Monday!  Hope all is well where you are and wherever you be!  If you live in America or celebrate American Thanksgiving, it is this Thursday!  Today I need to pick up a few more items for Thanksgiving dinner.  My bestie and I have Friendsgiving every year and this year is no different.  I’m bringing my green bean casserole for sure, probably some Cresent rolls, and most definitely my Pumpkin Cheesecake!  Possibly my homemade stuffing as well.  Man, Thanksgiving food is probably my favorite food to make and eat.  Anyway, before I get too hungry to function, why don’t we get to today’s post, shall we?  Products I have currently hit pan on!

Lately, I have really got into a groove of using products religiously, in hopes of hitting some glorious, wonderful pan.  And in hopes of using up the product!  Now, I don’t have a crazy amount of products with pan, but the ones I do, I’m super proud of!  So, without further ado, let’s get onto the pan porn!

LeahERaven.com | Products I've Hit Pan On November 2018

First up, I have my Kat Von D Beauty Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette.  I have had this baby for YEARS.  I don’t even remember when I originally bought it.  That’s bad.  It is still in the original packaging, so yeah.  A long time in my collection.  From this palette, I have used up 3 of the smaller pans Lucius, Liberatus, and Latinus.  I have used up the larger pan Laetus and hit serious pan in Ludwin.  Ludwin I have used with Roxy from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette in order to create a blush shade.

11192018-katvondshadecontour

Up next, another Kat Von D Beauty product, the Shade & Light Contour Palette.  I have had this bad boy the same amount of time as the eye palette.  I am happy to say I have used up two shades, Lyric & Lucid, and hit some great pan in Sombre.  This is where I put the blush that I concocted.

LeahERaven.com | Products I've Hit Pan On November 2018

On to another palette, I have the Anastasia Beverly Hills SUBCULTURE Palette.  I love this baby.  Currently, I have pans in both Dawn & Mercury, and an empty pan in Roxy, although like I mentioned earlier, I used it to mix with a shade in order to create a new blush.

11192018-no7bronzer

Here I have the No7 Match Made Bronzer in Golden Sand.  The funny thing about this product is I did not think I was ever going to hit pan on it.  After the first month of use, I thought I was an idiot for throwing this product into a 3-month long project.  Just after my second update on my 13 By Halloween Project Pan, I managed to hit pan, which was the original goal of the product.  Since then, I have really fallen in love with the product and have managed to extend the pan.  To give you a small preview for next year, this product will be in my 19 in 2019 Project Pan… just FYI.  Haha.

LeahERaven.com | Products I've Hit Pan On November 2018

Last up, I have my Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder that I pressed into an old Rimmel compact.  I’ve been working on this for a bit.  I’m not a huge fan of loose powders so when I pressed the product into the compact, I’ve been really loving using this product.  At first I didn’t really care for this product or notice a difference with it, however, after pressing it, absolutely love it!

Alright gang, that is it.  Like I said, I don’t have too many current pans, I’m very famous for bouncing around my collection without actually finishing up anything.  That’s why I have really been loving doing project pans.  It helps me maintain focus on my products and actually use them up!  I would love to hear about any products that you have hit pan on or used up recently!  What were some of your major accomplishments?  Let me know in the comment section below!  Also, just for shits and giggles, if you are celebrating the American Thanksgiving, what foods are you looking forward to either making or eating?  Let me know!  Anywho, thank you so much for stopping by and until next time!

13 By Halloween Project Pan – FINALE!

LeahERaven.com | 13 By Halloween Project Pan FINALE

Hey everyone, long time no write, I know.  Per most people’s reasoning, life got in the way.  However, here I am today with my 13 By Halloween Project Pan FINALE!  I finally worked all the way through a freaking project pan and I am beyond thrilled and proud of myself.  I’ve done several project pans in the past and have been unsuccessful, but today is the finale!  I’m going to go over the products I finished before this finale, before going over what products I had left.  So if you think that is something you might be interested in, well, just keep on reading!

Please Note: This post DOES contain affiliate links.

On the first update, I was able to finish off 6 of the 13 products which included the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Liquid Foundation in shade 1.5 ($40 US), the Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Pressed Powder ($5.49 US), the Milani Make It Last Setting Spray ($9.99 US), the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Granite ($21 US), the Catrice Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette in 010 Ashy Radiance ($7.99 US), and the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Amethyst Rollerball Perfume ($28 US).  For pictures, I’ll leave the link to the first update here.

On the second update, I was able to finish an additional 3 products and declutter one.  Those products were the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer in Fair ($9.99 US), the Wet N Wild Photofocus Pressed Powder in Warm Light ($4.99 US), and the Wet N Wild Single Shadow in Brulee ($0.99).  The decluttered item was the PUR Correcting Primer in Illuminate & Glow (discontinued).  The second update will be linked here for your convenience.

So, that means a total of 10 out of the original 13 products were finished or decluttered.  Let’s get into the last 3 items and see where I ended up!

No7 Match Made Bronzer – Intro
LeahERaven.com | 13 By Halloween Project Pan
No7 Match Made Bronzer – Finale

First up is the No7 Match Made Bronzer in Golden Sand ($12.99 US).  I am happy to say I finally, FINALLY hit my goal of hitting pan!  I have actually come to really enjoy this product!  I still have no idea whether or not No7 is a cruelty-free brand so I would not repurchase if I ever manage to use this product up, but I am so beyond thrilled at hitting some good pan in this product!

Next, we have the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Dry Shampoo ($28 US).  I don’t have progress pictures of this product because for one, the packaging is opaque and I’m not very good at guestimating where I’m at, but I am happy to say I completely finished up this product!  I really love the scent of Nirvana Black, I’ve just never been into dry shampoos, not because this didn’t work for me, just because I’ve never gotten into the habit of using them.  So, even though this scent is pure heaven for me, I would not repurchase.

LeahERaven.com | 13 By Halloween Project Pan FINALE
Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber Fine Fragrance Mist

Last up, we have the Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber Fine Fragrance Mist ($14.50 US).  Sadly, I was not able to use up this bad boy, but DAMN did I make some killer progress!  I think if I keep up with it, I will be able to use it up by the end of November and move out another fragrance/body mist.  It pisses me off that Bath & Body Works decided to start selling in Mainland China because this is literally my ride or die body wash and body mist.  Assholes.  Oh well.

So that does it!  I can’t believe I finally followed through with a project pan and was this successful!  It’s amazing what you can do and work through once you stay dedicated to the products.  Coming up soon are going to be both my Movie Madness Project Pan and my 12 Pans of Christmas Project Pan updates, so keep an eye out for that!  I hope everyone had a killer Halloween!  Did any of you go through with the 13 by Halloween Project?  If so, let me know how you did in the comments!  Until next time!

GRWM Using Project Pan Items & SUBCULTURE

Hey all, hope everything is going well for you on this Wednesday.  When thinking about what I wanted to post for today, I was stumped for a bit.  Then I thought, I haven’t really done a GRWM type of post in a while, especially using some of my Project Pan items.  So, I thought this would be perfect!  Plus, I am going to be using SUBCULTURE on my eyes and show a look that I wear often and get tons of compliments on.  Also, I will share how I use it to get this palette to work for me.  So, if that seems something you may be interested in, then just keep on reading!

Please Note: This post DOES contain affiliate links.  Thank you.

LeahERaven.com | GRWM Using Project Pan Items and SUBCULTURE

To start out, I always do my face makeup before my eyes.  That is how I have always done it, I’ve tried switching it up and didn’t like it.  Before putting on anything, my face was already washed and moisturized.  First up, I spray the Milani Make It Dewy Setting Spray ($9.99 US).  This product I have not really enjoyed because it looks and feels so greasy, however, I’ve gotten it to work really well as a primer spray.  It helps give a little bit more moisture for the foundation.  Then, I take a small pea-sized amount of the Milani Prime Shield Mattifying Primer ($9.99 US) and press that into the areas where I have really large pores, around my cheek area, nose, forehead, and chin.

For foundation, I mix half a pump of Kat Von D Beauty Lock-It Foundation in L42 ($35 US) with about a pump and a half of the FLOWER Beauty Light Illusion Liquid Foundation in L2 ($13.99 US).  The Lock-It foundation is extremely light on my skin and the FLOWER foundation is a little too dark.  Mixing them together helps give me a better shade match (though, I still manage to look ghostly lol) and helps make the FLOWER foundation not look SO dewy by the end of the day.

LeahERaven.com | GRWM Using Project Pan Items and SUBCULTURE

Next onto concealing and setting my face.  I take my Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer in Fair ($27 US) and literally do one dot underneath my eyes closer to the tear duct area and one dot on top of my eyelids to use as a primer.  I am VERY lucky to not have terrible darkness under my eyes.  It didn’t really show up on the previous picture.  Plus, this concealer is extremely full coverage and very drying so using very little does help combat the dryness.  To set the concealer, I’ve been taking the Kat Von D Beauty Shade & Light Contour Palette ($49 US) in the lightest shade.  It is a mixture of Lucid & Lyric (I mixed them together and repressed them).  To set the rest of my face, I’m using the Besame Cosmetics Vanilla Brightening Powder ($22 US).  It is pressed into my old Rimmel compact because I have learned I truly hate loose powders haha.

10102018-faceproducts

For the rest of the face, I took my No7 Match Made Bronzer in Golden Sand ($12.99 US) and warmed up this ghostly complexion in the “3” method, then took a little bit of Sombre from the Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette ($49 US) and contoured my cheekbones and dusted just a little down the sides of my nose.  For blush, I used the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Collection blush in Amaretto (limited edition) and highlight I dusted Anastasia Beverly Hills Starlight Illuminator (discontinued) on the high points of my cheekbones, brought that up around my eyebrow and lightly on the tip of my nose and cupids bow.

LeahERaven.com | GRWM Using Project Pan Items and SUBCULTURE

LeahERaven.com | GRWM Using Project Pan Items and SUBCULTURE

Moving on to the eyes!  First up, I took the shade MERCURY (a matte deep gray) from the Anastasia Beverly Hills SUBCULTURE Palette ($42 US) and dusted that in windshield wiper motions in my crease.  What I do is literally dip a fluffy brush ONCE into the palette and on a towel that I keep by my side to do my makeup, I dab the excess onto the towel once or twice and it is the perfect amount for my eyes.  For me, this doesn’t bother me, because I’m used to dipping my brush into all of my products, not swirling.  So, just thought I would share that just in case you have this palette and have a hard time using it.

Next, I pick up the shade FUDGE (a warm matte poop brown) on a slightly smaller, more dense brush and do the same with this shade.  I tap ONCE into the shade and dab off the excess.  I then take it and work it into my outer V area and slightly bring it into the crease.

Now, on an even smaller brush, I use the Morphe M506 Brush ($6 US), I pick up the shade ROWDY (a matte deep purple), same method as FUDGE, and place that on top of where I laid down FUDGE, bringing it in a little bit further on my lids.  Now, I know it looks weird right now, unblended, looks like it skips, just stick with me on this!

Now on a smaller fluffy brush, I picked up the shade ALL STAR (a matte maroon), did the same thing of tapping in once, dabbing off the excess, and worked that into my crease.

To blend everything together, I then took a little bit of the shade DAWN (a warm, light beige shade) and swept that over the edges.  See, looks a bit better now don’t you think?

For the lower lash line, I first took a little bit of ROWDY and blended it about 3/4 of the way towards my inner corner, then blended it out with a bit of MERCURY.  Then, I took a bit of my face highlight and put that in my inner corner.  Used a little bit of a nude eyeliner in my waterline and put on a couple of coats of mascara.  The eyeliner I used is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kajal Kohl Eyeliner in 005 Nude ($4.99 US) and the mascara is Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara ($26 US).  I then set my face using the FLOWER Beauty Hydrating Setting Spray ($12.99 US) and 2 squirts of the Milani Make It Dewy Setting Spray ($9.99 US).  Yes, I only did two squirts, you do more than that and you look like a grease ball, not a glowing goddess lol.

For my eyebrows, I’m still using my beloved Kat Von D Beauty Signature Brow Precision Pencil in Graphite ($20 US) and setting them with my NYX Control Freak Clear Eyebrow Gel ($7.99 US).

Lastly, the lips!  I took the NYX Professional Makeup Suede Matte Lip Liner in Sandstorm ($ US) and outlined my lips.  Then filled them in with Kat Von D Beauty Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick in Bow N Arrow ($20 US) and dabbed a little bit of the bareMinerals Gen Nude Gloss in Yaaas ($18 US).  And here is the completed look!

This has practically been my Go-To look for work every day.  It helps me use so many different shades from the SUBCULTURE palette.  I also get tons of compliments on it, practically every day.  They do say that purple helps bring out green eyes.  Also, don’t mind the crazy hair.  I had a side head shave a while ago and am now dealing with the grow out… it is not enjoyable haha.  I’m also going by to my original hair color, so I am going to be looking wild for quite a bit haha.

Well, that does it here from me.  I hope you found this helpful or interesting, if you did, let me know in the comments!  I’d love to hear from you!  If you have the SUBCULTURE palette, what other color combinations do you enjoy pulling in from it?  Thank you so much for stopping by and until next time!
