My Top 5 Holy Grail, Ride or DIE Makeup Products

For me, I own quite a bit of makeup.  Now, compared to a big-time beauty blogger or YouTuber, it is small.  Throughout my time wearing makeup, I’ve used up very little makeup.  The few that I have, if I have repurchased the same item and used it up again, that is showing some true dedication.  There are also some items that I haven’t used up yet but use on a consistent basis.  Today, I thought I would share my holy grail, ride or die makeup products.  If you are interested, then just keep on reading!

1. Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation ($40 US)

Currently, I am working through my second bottle of this product.  This is hands down the best foundation I have ever used.  In my current collection, I have a total of 10 foundations and although I am trying to use up my other ones, I can’t turn away from this one.  The name fits perfectly with the product.  It is very weightless on the skin and looks like skin.  It is not super dewy, not matte, and I wouldn’t say a satin finish.  It is a true skin-like finish.  It blends seamlessly into my skin, never looks heavy or cakey, and has wonderful staying power.  This is the one foundation I love and can wear on its own, but it is also such a perfect mixing foundation as well.  It has helped me use other foundations that don’t necessarily work for me.  This foundation and the Fiona Stiles one I’m about to mention are the only ones I have ever fully used up and repurchased.  If that doesn’t say something, I don’t know what will.

2. Fiona Stiles Matte Finish Foundation Concentrate ($30 US)

Like the Urban Decay Foundation, I am currently working on my second bottle of this foundation.  I even have a 3rd bottle in back stock.  Nowadays I am not into matte finish foundations, however, I absolutely adore this one.  I use to wear it alone and loved it.  Now, I love mixing it.  It is such a beautiful mixing foundation, it works so wonderfully with other dewy foundations that I own, helping increase the longevity and helping it keep my oils at bay.  My favorite concoction is mixing this foundation with my Urban Decay one, my skin looks flawless.

3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Starlight Illuminator (discontinued)
In my collection, there are a plethora of highlighters.  Like most, I am sucked into the glow.  This one I keep coming back to because it is my perfect highlighter.  It looks so stunning on my skin, doesn’t emphasize texture, is a perfect white gold shade that blends beautifully, and lasts all day.  Every highlighter in my collection does not even come close to this.  I will get sucked into a new highlighter, use it for a week, then go right back to this one.  When I found out it was discontinued, my heart dropped.  I haven’t been wanting to use it because I am so terrified I’m going to run out of it.  Luckily, I snagged an additional Starlight Illuminator on GlamBot, so hopefully, I will be set for a long while… hopefully.

4. Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick in Desert Suede ($18 US)

Dose of Colors has the best liquid lipstick formula, hands down.  I have tried so many different brands it’s ridiculous.  At one point in my makeup collection I had over 100 liquid lipsticks of all different formulas and brands.  I’m not exaggerating.  Liquid lipsticks are my jam.  I have done a huge decluttering since that time, but both of my Dose of Colors shades have remained.  This formula is so comfortable and so long wearing.  I wear this shade to work, make out with dogs in it, drink coffee, battle hair and humidity, and at the end of the day, it is still there and I don’t even feel it.  This is probably the closest to my ideal grey nude shade that I have come across.

5. Milani Prep, Set & Glow Illuminating Translucent Powder ($9.99 US)

I never thought I would have a powder amongst my holy grail makeup list, but here we are.  This product was a recommendation from Emily Noel on YouTube and I have already used up and repurchased this item.  It has such a beautiful finish to the skin, setting everything perfectly but looking healthy.  It gives a light sheen to the skin without looking glittery.  Like I said, the skin just looks healthy and radiant.  I don’t know what else to say about this product other than I love it.

Okay, so that does it for my Holy Grail, Ride or DIE Makeup Products.  Like the title states, I only chose 5 products, because honestly I can make anything work.  However, for something to be holy grail status, it truly has to blow me away.  There are times where I feel some beauty bloggers or YouTubers pick tons of products as “Holy Grails” but it doesn’t feel geniune.  Do you know what I mean?  These products are truly holy grail to where I have repurchased multiple times.  Or like the liquid lipstick, I keep reaching for and can’t turn away from it.  What are some of your holy grail makeup products?  Or products that you keep reaching for over and over?  Let me know in the comments below!  Well, that does it for me.  Thank you for stopping by and until next time!

    1. There are so many really great options at the drugstore!! The Essence single eyeshadows in Apricotta and The Grammy Goes Glammy are AMAZING as highlighters and around $2, I have yet to be disappointed with any of the Essence mascaras, all under $5, but I haven’t tried them all. From Walgreens, the brand CYO has a foundation called the Long Lasting Foundation Lifeproof and it is incredible!! I should definitely do a whole post about amazing drugstore finds!! Thanks for the inspiration! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
